Dorchester native Kasheef Wyzard’s motto is work hard, play hard.

The local cast member of BET’s “College Hill: Interns” puts his mantra to the test Tuesday night at 10.

“The second episode, you know what happened,” said the Georgia State University senior.

“College Hill: Interns,” a spin-off of BET’s popular reality series “College Hill,” placed 10 students together in Chicago for summer internships as communications and promotion assistants with Fortune 500 companies.

Last week’s episode ended with Wyzard passed out on the bathroom floor after a raucous night of partying.

“I’m sure it could be viewed negatively,” said the 22-year-old finance major. “I had a meeting to go to the next day, but everybody learns from their mistakes.

“At the end of the day, I still get my work done,” he said.

Wyzard, who grew up just off Blue Hill Avenue, said his castmates were all motivated, competitive individuals.

“This was pretty intense. It put everything in perspective. It opened my eyes up to other career opportunities,” said the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity brother.

Though Wyzard identifies himself as an Atlanta resident on the show, the Hub is still in his heart.

“I love Boston. It’s my hometown, where I was born and raised,” he said.

After graduating from Walpole High School, he and his immediate family moved to the Atlanta area.

“They weren’t too surprised by the first two episodes,” Wyzard said of his family. “They know their son.”

Wyzard and the cast have not seen the final version of the show. “We are watching along with everybody else,” he said.

He doesn’t think his actions will jeopardize his career plans.

“There are cameras around us 24/7, and I could be possibly portrayed in ways not to my liking, but I knew that going into it,” Wyzard said.
