The Rho Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.'s Pearls & Partners "Boot Scootin' Boogie" brought in more than $14,000.
About 10 percent of ticket proceeds from the event, held recently at the Memorial Student Center on the Texas A&M University campus, goes to the Brazos Valley African American Museum. Other proceeds benefit various programs, from scholarships to mentoring the young Pearls & Partners. The Rho Phi Omega Chapter was chartered in 1989 in Bryan
