The words "Muslim" and "sorority" do not often appear in the same sentence. At least, they never used to. But beginning in May, the first Muslim sorority, Gamma Gamma Chi, is launching at five colleges, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Rutgers in New Jersey, as a result of one woman's struggle for acceptance within the academic establishment.  more >>
View Article  Zeta's Stepping Up To Educate Youth

The Tallahassee Area Zeta Archonettes will have their fifth-annual Stomp Fest 2K6 this weekend in Tallahassee.

The group is a youth auxiliary of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. for girls ages 12-18. The group is headed by Tiki Suarez, a business professor at Florida A&M University. The Archonettes are also working with the Walker-Ford Community Center Youth Council and Visions of Manhood, Inc.   more >>
