An ISU fraternity is kicking-off the school year by hosting a rare event in which one ISU student will perform by opening for two well-known rappers.

Lil' T, ISU junior and sports medicine major, T. Lloyd, will be opening for rappers Polk, 8 Ball and MJG tonight.

"This is a new beginning. The launching," Lloyd said. "I'm ready. It's going to be a good show."

Lloyd has been rapping since he was in first grade. He said he is ready to be a crowd mover at tonight's show. Lloyd described his rapping genre as "conscious music."

The men of Phi Beta Sigma anticipate nearly 1,000 people to attend the show. The show is "going to be fun and full of energy," said Phi Beta Sigma member, Hamid Saahir, who is an ISU senior, graphic design major.   more >>
