If history tells Tameka "Big Baby" Goodman anything, this year's Let the Good Times Roll festival promises to be hot. And she's not even talking about the entertainment, food and arts and crafts vendors organizers have cooked up for this weekend's three-day celebration in Festival Plaza.

Members of the local Rho Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fratenity, Inc., which sponsors and organizes the festival each year, have been involved since its inception 19 years ago. Graduates of Grambling State University, Joseph Odom, Rudolph White and Louis Nelson have logged a grand total of 141 years of service to the fraternity.   more >>
