 Community organizations recognized the scholastic achievements of 18 recent high school graduates Saturday at Mount Pisgah Church in Bloomington.
The third Annual Bloomington-Normal Joint Scholarship Celebration awarded $30,000 to local graduating high school students. The awards were about recognition of the students' academic prowess, said Tony Jones, a co-founder of the Mentoring and Providing Scholarships Program (MAPS). more >> |
