Real Men Cook For Charity, the nation's premier urban Father's Day charity event, will be celebrating its 16th anniversary in 2005. As one of 10 event cities since 2000, the 2005 Philadelphia event will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, June 19th at The Philadelphia Cruise Terminal Pier 1, located at 5100 S. Sylvia Redding and her sisters want to make the world a better place, and have some fun in the process.

As president of the Newport News Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Redding's sisters are working professionals - doctors, engineers, ministers, military personnel and lawyers. Despite sororities being tied to college life, many of these women joined the alumnae chapter after earning degrees.   more >>
