Don your helmets as the 25th annual Black Bike Week gang hits the highway and moves full speed ahead to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina during Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29, 2005.
Black Bike Week is an annual gathering of sports bikers throughout the United States, largely from the eastern sea board, including New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC and Virginia; to the southeastern states of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and beyond; who have grown in number to approximately 400,000 participants and attendees since its inception.
The bikers, primarily African-Americans who range in age from 21-45, ride bikes made by Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda’s, and Harley’s, participate in a myriad of cultural activities throughout this week. more >>
