The fraternity won the Statewide Stepdown at the Hulman Center Saturday. It has consecutively won the title of hosting the show for the past four years. "We are very excited over the win. We felt as if we had a lot to prove this time," said Anttonieo Madison, a senior communications studies major. He also added that each year the show gets bigger and better. more >>
Kappa's volunteer work with March of Dimes pays off years later

 While attending MTSU, Byron White always took part in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica each spring with fellow Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity brothers.
"I've been doing it ever since," says Byron. WalkAmerica is held in communities all over the country and helps raise funds to support research and programs that fight threats to the health of babies born too soon every year. Murfreesboro's WalkAmerica will be held April 24. Byron never dreamed he'd benefit personally from his work with March of Dimes — not until his son, Chase Byron White, was born prematurely Oct. 5, 2001. Chase is Rutherford County's 2005 WalkAmerica Ambassador. more >> |
