Cole, the younger brother of the late Nat King Cole, and his quartet performed a concert as part of Blue Revue 2005, Zeta Phi Beta's scholarship fund-raiser held every two years to benefit youths and community outreach services.  The brothers of Xi Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity have been working diligently over the past 55 years for the youth and Golden Triangle community. Most recently, the group presented its annual Debutante Ball.The Debutante Ball has been in existence since 1968. The event that was brought to the area through the efforts of Brother Lawrence Pierre and Quette Mildred Pierre and has served as a mechanism to recognize young women in their first year of college, highlighting their past, present and anticipated future accomplishments. more >> |
