The fur, the leather, the feathers, the bling, the slinky, the over-the-top sexy -- no doubt, Ebony Fashion Fair had arrived.

More than 2,200 well-dressed women, and a few men, filled Southern University's arena Sunday afternoon for the annual fashion extravaganza brought to town by the Gamma Eta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

The colors popped, the leathers fit like second skin, and the body-revealing low-cut gowns and high-cut skirts delivered the haute couture of Paris, Italy, Great Britain, Japan and Canada, along with some of America's Who's Who of fashion, to our back yard.   more >>
