Black Greek Network :: Johnson honored as 'Soror of Distinction' of Alpha Kappa Alpha

When Rho Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was founded 15 years ago in Sampson County, Dorothy Deanne Starr Johnson had no idea how the organization would flourish and become what it is viewed as today by many - an integral part of the community dedicated to the service of mankind.

Johnson was honored Sunday as the Soror of Distinction during the AKA Founder's Day Celebration, held at Coharie Country Club.

Nicole Edwards, president of Rho Omega Omega, said the group was holding the Founder's Day Celebration "in observance of National Founder's Day of AKA, Inc. and the 15th anniversary of Rho Omega Omega Chapter. more >>
