When Rho Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was founded 15 years ago in Sampson County, Dorothy Deanne Starr Johnson had no idea how the organization would flourish and become what it is viewed as today by many - an integral part of the community dedicated to the service of mankind.
Johnson was honored Sunday as the Soror of Distinction during the AKA Founder's Day Celebration, held at Coharie Country Club.
