Young, hardworking students received well-deserved recognition Saturday afternoon – and good advice to go along with it.

The students were honored during the annual Finer Womanhood program presented by the Theta Mu Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

The sorority presented each student with a "Power of a Dream" award for their academic achievement and service to the community. The keynote speaker was the Rev. John Thompson of Galilee Baptist Church.    more >>
