    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href=&quot;http://www.blackgreeknetwork.com/&quot;&gt;&lt;IMG src=&quot;http://www.blackgreeknetwork.com/lil%20Mr%20Sigma.jpg&quot; align=left&gt;&lt;/A&gt;Theta Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly crowned Charles Saunders, IV&amp;nbsp; Little Mr. Sigma 2008.&amp;nbsp; The Little Miss/Mr. Sigma Pageant was held on March 15, at Kernersville Library Auditorium at 4 p.m. following the chapters’ youth symposium.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Charles IV is the son of Norman Charles Sanders, III and Veronica Allen, and the grandson of Norman C. (Evelyn) Sanders, Jr.&amp;nbsp; He is a four-year-old Pre-K student at the Get Smart Pre-School in Sanford, N.C.&amp;nbsp; Charles is noted for his interest in fixing things around his grandparents’ house and his ability to find candy no matter where his grandparents have hidden it. He loves to play with his twin sister, Aireyona Saunders.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Little Charles and his sister are often visitors at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, where his fraternal parents and grandparents are members.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&quot;Miss UGA is special because she is a well-spoken individual,&quot; said pageant coordinator Jerry Anthony. &quot;It is not just a beauty pageant - talent is also important and a large part of the score.&quot; &lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Attendees crowded into the seats and even stood in the aisles awaiting the sisters of Sigma Gamma Rho to announce their return to the University.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&quot;I&#39;m glad they are back on campus,&quot; said Irvin Carney, a sophomore majoring in management information systems and a member of Phi Beta Sigma.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sigma Gamma Rho was founded nationally in 1922 and first came to the University on Nov. 14, 1975. After going inactive a few years ago, the Zeta Chi chapter of the sorority was restored to the University in fall 2007. The event Thursday evening was designed to publicly inform attendees that the sorority had, indeed, returned.&lt;/P&gt;

Goals driven by pride and passion for success throughout the week have been remarkably paralleled among contestants amidst the spirit-fueled cmpetition.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Greek Week is a traditional demonstration of Rollins fraternities and sororities strutting their stuff in contests such as modeling, eating, dancing, posing as gods and goddesses, boat racing and ice melting.</description>

&lt;P&gt;&quot;We believe it takes a village,&quot; said Dr. Louise A. Rice, national president of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., which hosted the three-day summit as part of its continued commitment to the rebuilding city. &quot;We are so pleased that so many people have gathered for the same cause-the education of our children.&quot; &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Rice said at least 300 people had registered for the conference, which concludsed on Sunday.</description>

&lt;P&gt;However, certain Greek chapters admist the 17 on campus don&#39;t believe the party stereotype because each has its own objective, and each represents something different.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&quot;I think that the party stereotype is not true for all sororities and fraternities,&quot; Clarissa Barnes, secretary of Sigma Gamma Rho, said. &quot;Sigma Gamma Rho is the smallest Greek organization within the National Pan-Hellenic Council. So we work hard to get things done and to present a positive image on campus. Drinking and partying does not come with upholding a positive image. Maybe some Greek groups do this, but all stereotypes about Greeks partying all the time are not true for every organization.&quot;</description>

Roberts has been named student activities coordinator at the University. In her new position, the Dayton, Ohio, native will have numerous responsibilities, including advising the Student Government Association and the Student Activities Council. Additionally, she will assist in the planning of Homecoming, Family Weekend and other campus events.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;“One of my goals is to make sure that the programming that we do on campus is student-driven and is what the students really want,” she said. “I want our campus programming and events to be a reflection of the diversity that we have on our campus.”</description>
