The Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity presented a dramatic collage of the civil rights movement over the past 100 years.

Tyrone Davis, president of Alpha Phi Alpha, said the fraternity designed the presentation to unite past and present generations with a common message of social betterment.

The sketch on civil rights incorporated characters both dead and alive, black and white. Beginning in 1906 with Henry Arthur Callis, one of the founders of Alpha Phi Alpha, it touched on the social changes brought about by historical figures such as President John F. Kennedy, Ethal Hedgeman, Thurgood Marshall and Eleanor Roosevelt.  more >>
