From time to time, Black Greek Network will add additional frequently asked questions to this list. As a new web site we are not sure what the questions will be that our members will ask, so we are building this list as we go.

Thank you again for all of your continued support.

------------------------------------------------------------

1. Why the change in the look and format of Black Greek Network?

Every web site must go through changes. The original Black Greek Network site grew beyond our capacity to maintain. It was important for us to go back to the drawing board and layout a design that would be scalable as we continue to grow in the future. We feel, the new look and format will accomplish that goal.

2. The member's directory and discussion board are gone, will this be implemented in the future?

Most definitely! We have seen the success of having a professional memnber's directory as well as a discussion board. We are currently planning behind the scenes the next few modules that will be added. For today, the news module was the first and most important module to start with.

3. Where can I sign up for the BGN Monthly News?

The BGN Monthy News was distributed once a month to the inboxes of our members. Unfortunately, handling the bounce backs and email spam protector services became an administrative nightmare. We are moving our news towards newsfeeds and RSS services. This is new technology that will enable us to push news to individual's desktops without having to use email.

4. What are newsfeeds and RSS services and how do I participate?

RSS allows individuals the ability to have news delivered to them automatically as it is updated. This means you get the freshest content as it is published. To participate, you will need a special RSS reader or utilize a service like MyYahoo. BGN is also working on a service that will automatically notify you of changed pages via email.

5. How often will BGN be updated?

The beauty of our new look and feel is that we will be able to update as frequently as we desire without the same administrative problems as before. Instead of seeing changes once a month, you can expect to see updates as frequently as 1-3 times a week.

6. Where does BGN get its news and how is it determined what is posted?

BGN has created a huge following and much of the news presented is sent to us via our members. BGN reserves the right to post news worthy items that show positive refelections of the "Divine Nine". However, from time to time there is news in our community that may not be positive and as journalist we also have a responsibility to report that news as well.

7. I am interested in a job at BGN, where can I apply?

Currently there are no paid positions available at BGN. Everything is done by a small team of partners. In the near future we will be seeking individuals who are majoring in journalism and who are members of the "Divine Nine" who are interested in participating in a internship.
