Black Greek Network was concieved when two young men met who had similar backgrounds and felt that there was a need for a professional social platform whereby black fraternity and sorority members could share and exchange ideas, information, and news. These two men set out to create an organization that has become well known throughout the United States and whose membership reaches the shores of Japan!

His passion for nepotism among African Americans is a result of witnessing other ethnic groups taking full advantage of networking relationships within their circle of peers. "There is strong evidence that those who have a set of connections with people of influence benefit from favoritism often times rather than merit. I am a believer that African Americans must make contacts, interact and exchange ideas with like minded individuals, not so that they can receive preferential treatment but so that they may level the playing field in the highly competitive work environment."

"We founded Black Greek Network to be the catalyst that promotes networking opportunities among black Greeks and others of influence. Our goal is to help African Americans develop business socialization skills by arranging different meeting venues including business workshops, Internet communities, and networking jamborees."
